Patient data is not our dataset.
This plain-language notice distinguishes browser-local clinical workspace data from the limited operational data a web server necessarily handles.
Stays only in your browser
- Calculator inputs and results
- Favorite tools and heart sounds
- Private notes and calculation history
- Offline page caches and theme preference
These items do not sync. Use the export controls before clearing site data or changing devices.
Reaches the server
- Request metadata needed to deliver and secure the site, including IP address, timestamp, route without query string, response status, referrer, performance, and user agent
- First-party usage events such as page/tool view, calculation, share, favorite, search length/result count, audio load, and offline save
- A daily-rotating pseudonymous visitor hash, per-tab session identifier, campaign fields, browser language/timezone, viewport, and navigation timing—never clinical input values or results
- Feedback and discussion fields only when you intentionally submit them
Third parties
No advertising, cross-site analytics, embedded audio player, or third-party media request is loaded. Heart-sound WAV files are served directly by CardioWebdr. External evidence and license links are clearly marked and open only when you choose them.
Retention and control
Detailed first-party usage events are retained for 90 days. Operational request logs follow a 14-day rotation. Analytics reports stay on the private backend and are not published. You can delete favorites, notes, and history from their respective pages or clear this site’s browser data. Server-side feedback and pending discussion entries are retained for review and security; request deletion through Feedback with enough information to identify your submission.
