STS-IE Surgical Risk Model: Explanation and Clinical Context The STS-IE (Society of Thoracic Surgeons – Isolated Valve Surgery) Risk Model is a validated tool to predict postoperative mortality and major morbidity for patients undergoing isolated valve surgery.
