ELECTRa Registry Mortality Score: Explanation and Clinical Context The ELECTRa Registry Mortality Score, also known as the EROS (ELECTRa Registry Outcome Score), is a risk stratification tool developed to predict the likelihood of major adverse events (MAEs) and mortality in patients undergoing transvenous lead extraction (TLE). It incorporates clinical variables such as age, gender, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), history of stroke, chronic kidney disease (CKD), dialysis dependence, and the indication for lead extraction (e.g., infection or lead dysfunction). The score stratifies patients into three categories: low risk (EROS 1), intermediate risk (EROS 2), and high risk (EROS 3).

Patients classified as EROS 3 have a significantly higher risk of procedure-related complications and mortality compared to those in EROS 1.
