It predicts all-cause mortality in both HFrEF and HFpEF patients by integrating 13 routinely available variables such as age, sex, NYHA class, LVEF, blood pressure, BMI, renal function, and comorbidities. Normal Value and Interpretation: There is no "normal" score; higher MAGGIC scores correspond to higher predicted mortality.

Typically, patients with scores below 15 have low annual mortality (<10%), while those above 25 carry high risk (>30%). Clinical Significance: The score supports risk stratification, patient counseling, and follow-up planning. It complements, but does not replace, clinical judgment and biomarkers like NT-proBNP.
