Endothelial Dysfunction Post-COVID Index (Explanation and Clinical Context) This calculator combines validated indices of endothelial stress and an exploratory composite to contextualize post-COVID vascular dysfunction. EASIX = LDH × Creatinine / Platelets — initially validated in hematologic and COVID-19 populations. Higher EASIX correlates with worse endothelial activation and outcomes.

Age-adjusted EASIX (aEASIX-COVID) = EASIX × Age, proposed to improve risk stratification in SARS-CoV-2 infection. Exploratory Biomarker Composite integrates endothelial activation markers (VWF:Ag, sP-selectin, sTM, ICAM-1, VCAM-1, D-dimer, Endothelin-1, Syndecan-1) normalized to reference limits, reflecting systemic endothelial stress. Clinical Use: Interpret trends in context with imaging, inflammatory, and functional tests.
