SGLT2 Benefit Probability Score: Explanation and Clinical Context The SGLT2 Benefit Probability Score is designed to estimate the likelihood of clinical benefit from SGLT2 inhibitors in patients with heart failure (HF), chronic kidney disease (CKD), and/or diabetes mellitus (DM). This tool incorporates key clinical variables such as age, presence of HF, CKD, and DM. Higher scores indicate a greater predicted benefit from initiating SGLT2 inhibitor therapy.
It can guide clinicians in identifying patients most likely to derive cardiovascular and renal protection from SGLT2 inhibitors.
