Pediatric Crohn Disease Activity Index PCDAI Explanation and Clinical Context The Pediatric Crohn Disease Activity Index is a validated composite instrument used to quantify disease activity in children with Crohn disease. It combines history items including abdominal pain stool pattern and general well being with physical examination findings growth and perianal assessment and laboratory markers including hematocrit erythrocyte sedimentation rate and serum albumin.
